Special Events
Down at The Pig, we like to have just as much fun as you, so we like to celebrate all those special events throughout the year, like:
- SEPTEMBER: Father's Day is the first Sunday each September - don't forget your old Dad, bring him down for a meal (and more!) that he'll enjoy - in your company.
- OCTOBER: Celebrate Oktoberfest in Brisbane by attending one of our great events. We'll make sure you have a great time!
- NOVEMBER: Book your Melbourne Cup function with us for a great day on the first Tuesday in November.
- DECEMBER: Christmas Functions and Xmas Day - Barbeques, Set Menus, Buffets and generally a great time this season!
- Come and party with us on New Year's Eve for the best party to ring in the New Year!
- JANUARY: Have a great Australia Day in a Brisbane Pub at The Pig. Come on down!
- FEBRUARY: A romantic night out for Valentine's Day Dinner in Brisbane at The Pig. Make your booking soon - don't forget!!!!
- MARCH: St Patricks Day is always a big night
- APRIL: Anzac Day is a day of rememberance and reflection.
- MAY: Mothers Day. Is your mum the best? Does she deserve a special treat? Bring her down to The Pig for a special meal! She'll be pleased.
Some special events only happen every few years - we have the best time when something Special happens.
- The Ashes Cricket Tour is in Australia every 4 years, and everytime we have the best time partying before and after the matches . When the series is played in England, come down and watch it with us on our Big Screens. When it is played locally, the Barmy Army make The Pig 'N' Whistle into their second home!
- The FIFA World Cup only comes around every 4 years, but we have a ball when it is on! The crowd has a great time watching the FIFA matches on our Big Screens!
- The Rugby World Cup is another international series that is only played every 4 years - we love these big series and all our outlets are no holds barred to show as many matches as we can!.
